This painting is my emotional response to the violence and tyranny in our world. It portrays Madonna holding a stick instead of the infant Jesus, symbolizing the painful irony that, too often, power and violence triumph over love and kindness.
Jesus taught us to live in love and mercy, but in reality, the ones who hold power often win. The painting reflects my disappointment in a world where wars, abuse, and injustice still prevail.
I hope this work inspires others to reflect on true humanity, peace, and kindness, reminding us that love should always come before violence.
