Sometimes life gets really hard—too much stress, too little sleep, too many things to handle alone. In one of those moments, I found myself crying a lot. And it actually helped. Crying is like a reset button. It cleans out all the built-up pressure. Psychologists say it’s good for us, but in many cultures, men especially aren’t allowed to cry. Still, we all need it.
This painting is about those tears. I decided to paint them—every single one I could remember. But they’re not sad or scary. They’re pink, soft, and gentle. These are healing tears, the kind that help you breathe again. Painting them felt like therapy, and I hope looking at them feels the same for someone else.
