This painting is based on a sketch I made in 2019. It shows two lovers embracing — one of my favorite motifs. They are surrounded by a powerful gravitational field, symbolizing life’s ups and downs. The path may not be smooth, but love can still lead us upward.
The title is inspired by the Led Zeppelin song “Stairway to Heaven,” which speaks of a spiritual journey — a path toward inner light and awakening. For me, it’s also about how true love can turn life into paradise. Despite challenges of “gravity”, and to reach the heaven together.
In the upper part - is my personal vision of heaven - huge white circles with tall shining towers! It came to me during some of meditations and shamanic journeys into the upper worlds.
